Do Not Put Glue On Your Broken Keys

Do Not Put Glue On Your Broken Car Keys:

Remote Head Car keys break frequently, a remote head key is not able to take the wear and tear of a normal key without the remote part. A remote head key is very convenient and preferred for many people, unfortunately, these keys break with time, specially if the user let the keys fall on the floor frequently.

Glue is the worst thing one can do to try to repair the key, it actually makes it harder to transfer the components of the key (the transponder chip and the remote part) into a new Key Shell. Putting glue on the key, makes it at a higher risk for the key being damaged in the process because the parts get stuck in the plastic head of the key.

It takes me a lot of time, patience and skills to do the transfer of a broken remote head key into a new shell. Usually, the car owner will have to buy a new programmed key non remote, before doing the transfer process, just to make sure that the owner will have a working key, because if the transponder part of the key gets damaged, the car will not start.

If your key is broken or damage, keep all the parts together and go to a Locksmith as soon as possible for a new key or a new key shell.
